I'm surprised that Raimi even agreed with directing Spiderman 4. Sony treated him like a little punk for SM3 by forcing him to change so much stuff and force Venom in to please the fanboys. Hell, the sole reason that SM3 was so crappy was because Raimi just threw in the towel and didn't even care about the quality of the movie anymore.
