@miggedymikeI do not know enough about the authenticator, but I do not think that it is an encryption device, just a key generator. Even if it were I do not believe that it is greater than 64-bits, so under the BIS it could fall under "Mass Market Encryption Commodities", which may not need an export license. South Africa is fairly low on the watch list for DoC.My guess would be that duties and taxes are more of a concern for Blizzard than export laws if my above statement is true.
