The Daily Quest: Feral cat druid guides and goodness

Feral cat guides on the internet seem harder to find than other spec guides, so I've collected a few here for those of you looking to claw faces with greater efficiency.
- WoW Wiki's Feral DPS Guide: A very comprehensive guide for cat druids covering specs and glyphs, dps rotation, gear stat explanations, Rawr video walkthrough, enchants, gems, consumables and more.
- Melee hit table FAQ for feral druids: The Fluid Druid blog breaks down why cat druids need to hit the hit cap.
- Cat Druid best in slot gear list updated for Icecrown: Kalon has actually rated a long list of top items available to cat druids for each slot, but don't we all just look at the best in slot and skip the rest?
- Best 3.3 non-tier cat gear: Kalon is at it again, this time listing the best gear you can get for the 5 tier slots if you don't have new T10 gear, yet.
- Cat dps guide for Icecrown Citadel: Lower Spire: Jacemora gives a down and dirty bullet point listing of strats for each one of the ICC bosses.

Kitty DPS will NEVER be accused of having a faceroll rotation. That's why I love it!

The only dps guide needed is that flowchart and "CAT DURID IS 4 FITE!"

I don't even play a druid, but I get a kick out of seeing that image every time.
John F*cking Madden!!!
The complex nature of kitty dps really entices me to drop my three year main rogue and switch to a kitty/bear for Cataclysm.

anyone know if vertidog is actually the guy who made the chart?

I'm pleased to see cat druids get some love. As a rogue I consider cat druids like my little brother, I try to look out for them, they get all my old gear and I want them to succeed (but not do better than me).

Best 3.3 non-tier cat gear: Kalon is at it again, this time listing the best gear you can get if you don't raid.
Actually, everything he lists needs raiding, it's just not the tier gear. Won't help non-raiders at all. His first piece, in fact, is from heroic 25 ICC. ;)

Glad to see ThinkTank and Fluid Druid - they really are by far the two best and most informative feral blogs out there, and good to see that Jacemora is back at it.
The idea behind the Wow wiki Feral DPS Guide was to avoid having 15 different guides on 10 different forums that are each dependent on one single guy or girl who is liable to go MIA or stop playing at any time - e.g., the official forums have at least three separate guides.
That said, these are the people who should get credit since I stole/borrowed tons of stuff from them:
Murna's Cat Dps for Dummies thread on EJ (and Dukes from way back when)
Astrylian proof-read the original video script, and the Rawr Discussions threads with him, Gwindor and Allev helped a lot
Alaron (The Fluid Druid) for the raidbuffs section and good thinking
Kalon (ThinkTank)
Geros' guide on TankSpot is good, too
The video is about to get a minor update called "CB06: Things I got wrong", to be released in the next few days on http://coldbear.wordpress.com/2009/12/04/things-i-got-wrong/
And please help protect that wiki page from vandalism, I worked a good 6-10hrs/day on it for a week but was hoping I wouldn't be the only guy updating here and there since I won't play forever, either.

Nice to get a shout-out on WI (yes, I know it's wow.com now, it'll always be WI in my heart). Kalon is an EXCELLENT feral blogger and a must-read, but the majority of his stuff is aimed at cutting-edge raiders. I do some of that, but also keep the new players in mind as well. Check out my full Bear guide at (http://thefluiddruid.wordpress.com/2009/09/28/the-feral-tanking-guide-introduction/), or check out my Cat gearing guide for new ferals (http://thefluiddruid.wordpress.com/2010/01/03/the-33-cat-gearing-guide-part-1/) or (http://thefluiddruid.wordpress.com/2010/01/09/the-33-cat-gearing-guide-part-2/).
Coldbear's got a great wiki started for DPS advice, also.
