My tanking gear still contains 187 blues, my spec needs working, my tanking skill is half-par, and overall I don't like the feel of DK tanking (I'm a heavy keyboard-user and Death & Decay goes against that), but I never check both Tank and Damage. If I choose Tank, then I turn off Recount and just soak it up. If I choose Damage, then I dish it out. I choose whatever I feel like playing at that moment, not a tossup.

I'm a keyboard user / icon clicker, too. But I do keybind the aoe/targetable spell for all my toons on the 1 key that is easy to reach while using ASWD to move.

DK - DND
spriest - mass dispel
lock - reign of fire
