I do most of my heroic-ing on my shammy healer, so I automatically go as heals, and give as much effort as I would any boss fight in an end-game raid. IMO if you are a good tank or a good healer, you're good no matter what instance or raid you're tanking/healing. Sometimes having crappy DPS and/or a tank makes things a bit more interesting, to say the least. I generally get sick of the queue on my warrior (fury, /sigh) or my mage and go back to my shammy for that nearly-instant love. I have seen several situations where we have a toon queued as tank in HPoS or HHoR and I'll leave, simple as that. I generally give it a good shot, but if it's not possible, I'm not sticking around forever for fail after fail.
