On my level 60 paladin, prot from the start, I signed up as a tank for Dire Maul. I died the first pull, because the healer refused to heal me and started pulling extra mobs. The group started raging, and the healer responded "I have like as much health as you, and I'm only level 59!!" This was true, he had only 60 less health, but....He was in pure Str/Stam greens. Not 1 point of int, not one point of SP. Heck with some of the blue pieces I hadn't replaced yet in Outlands, I had more mana than him.The DK dps (level 58) was FURIOUS. He said, "SO WHAT? I have 1k more hp than EITHER of you, you signed up as heals, now do your damn job!"Still, the 'healer' refused, and spent 3 minutes "fake resurrecting" me, where he would cancel just before the spell finished over and over.So 2 dps drop, leaving 3 of us, and I refused to requeue. He was leader, so he couldn't get kicked. Eventually, after trying pulls by himself (on which he just spammed holy light), and some mocking remarks in the same vein of his own 'criticisms' of my tanking ability, he left. The remaining DPS and I requeued, immediately found a group, and continued without a hitch.(Turns out that last DPS was a fail, too, but that's another story...)
