You don't need to use target=focus anymore. It can be replaced by @focus since 3.3 went live so the macro can now look like/cast [@focus] Dispel Magic

Does this work with all target types? I.e. [@pet] or [@target]?And does it work with [@mouseover], do you know?

yup yup"@" is the new "target=", you can use it anywhere that you used to use "target=".
