The focus of this Q&A will be patch 3.3, Fall of the Lich King, so don't expect to hear any grand Cataclysm news in this chat. I'm actually very curious if we'll learn anything at all, considering the focus on current content rather than future content. It might be a good chance to get some insight into the development process, rather than trying to squeeze strategy tips out of the devs.

The only answer I'm expecting to get here is if 3.3.1 comes out next Tuesday or the Tuesday after.
Apart from that, my Crystal ball sees responses to QQing about the Battered Hilt Droprate/Lack of Tanking Weapon, ICC being too easy/too hard and claims the lore is RUINED FOREVER!

When you see two Battered Hilt's drop in one Forge of Souls it makes you wonder, what low droprate?

I think low droprate is where you run all teh new dungeons heroic mode once a day and normal mode many times a day for a couple weeks and it never drops. just hope its all ranged dps when it drops cause i need it badly for the gold or my alt

I'm less than optimistic. Last time they dedicated almost half their answers to pointless questions that could have been answered by taking a minute to visit the Cataclysm site. What I'd like to see them doing is ignoring the people who can't be bothered to look anything up, and focusing on those with legitimate questions.

I'm definitely expecting a lot of "Are we going to get to fight Arthas?" type questions. That last Q&A really made me question the information-seeking abilities of my fellow players.

I agree. I mean honestly, people are so goddamn lazy. The game is already easier than it needs to be, I actually research on my class in both PVP and PVE as well as other classes for the purpose of making it HARDER.
There's no such thing as "rotations" anymore, just "do X move before Y move and you'll probably do more DPS/gain more threat/overheal like freaking crazy". Gemming and enchanting armour weren't hard anyway, and it really wasn't that hard to know what was an upgrade in terms of gems or enchants anyway. No, warlocks do not need strength or attack power, so don't gem/enchant for it!*
With the retarded questions people were asking they might as well have just asked how to play their class. I could never do these sorts of things because I'd probably end up getting impatient, snapping, and end up replying with "How about you read this, then go f--k yourself!?" and that would be pretty bad PR.
It's bloody pathetic.

@Ringo, actually there's a lot of QQ going on from people who misinterpreted the original announcement. Apparently a lot of people thought only the Gladiator title would be unavailable from the 2's bracket and still expected to be able to attain the other titles this season.

Yea after they answered questions like that in the last Q&A I have low hopes for this one on current content nonetheless.

The last Twitter chat was moronic at best. Anyone who knows how to use google could have looked up all the answers they gave out weeks before. This is probably just another PR stunt.

I'm not good at framing questions so maybe someone else can figure it out and ask them something along the lines of what the fuck is up with elemental shaman? Are they going to just make a new talent tree or something? Because it seems like Blizzard either doesn't want anyone to play elemental, can't figure out what to do with elemental, or doesn't care.

If they had at least been sarcastic it might have been okay to answer a couple lame questions.
Q: "Are ther gonna b mounts in cataclysm?"
A: "No actually, we've decided that people riding and flying around just makes travel too fast and you don't get to see the beautiful scenery we've constructed for you. Thanks to the new dungeon system, it's not like you have to actually fly to instances to run them anymore. Starting with patch 4.0, all mounts will be removed from the game. However, pre-routed flight paths will still be available. Also due to this change, both the continents of Outland and Northrend will be scaled down by about 50% to make travel easier."
Can you imagine the news stories? xD
