The first day I played WoW, I was leveling a human mage (who I deleted shortly after, but that's irrelevant) and someone had kited Teremus the Devourer to Goldshire where he was wreaking havoc. This was back in Vanilla WoW, and even though this was my first time playing WoW, I wasnt new to MMOs. I found it odd that a lvl ?? black dragon would be in a starting zone, so I asked someone and they were convinced that it was part of a quest and I shouldnt worry about it.

This, totally this. I was on a low level priest with a warrior friend and we were running through Elwynn forest. I noticed this happening and all I could say was '...dragon', to which my warrior friend had no idea what was going on. I convinced her that yes indeed I had seen a dragon going into Stormwind and we ran in, a hunter using Noggenfogger so he looked like a skeleton was kiting Terminus around the trade district. You had people standing by the center who would run first to one intersection in front of the flight master, then turn and run over to the intersection in front of the bank, watching and trying not to get killed by inadvertently entering combat. This was my early days on my priest, and I didn't realize that healing people entered me into combat (or that it would flag me pvp if I healed someone flagged) so I got myself baked a few times, but it was about an hour of pure awesome as people tried to kill him.
