The very first big kite I remember seeing was a Devilsaur tearing it up right in the middle of Crossroads, back when that was the major hub for all levels of Horde. There are videos on YouTube of people bringing the mob to Orgrimmar, but really Crossroads was a more fiendish place for it back in the day.
