Notice that Omacron said that he expresses his intent. To me, that makes him a good-time-having dpser that I would like to group with.I only tank anymore, and if I know a dps is pulling aggro because they want to completely destroy something (and it's not an aggro fail on my part), I enjoy it. I know they do too. I used to play a mage and I got a kick out of blasting things to pieces. But only if I KNOW that's what's happening. I'll taunt off of them if it gets too hairy, but otherwise I'll let them take the beating.I think some dpsers find it more fun to have that element of danger, and as long as the healer is good and we all know it's going to happen and there is no danger _to the group as a whole_, I fully support people having fun while I'm tanking.
