Ok, maybe the newbie zone was a bad example. But the idea is around the randomness. Make WoW less predictable, please. We all know now where all the mobs are and what they do. We know where we're safe and where we're not.
If the world bosses attack some city, village or another relevant place, this gives purpose on killing them. It would be not about the loot, but about defending your people.
And yet, if the world bosses locations were random, even if they're just wandering around and not attacking our cities (yes, they can just want to take a walk for a while hehe), the randomness makes ganking raids harder.
And i know the post is about world bosses, but just don't think only about them. Why not have a wave of level 15 mobs attacking Crossroads or Goldshire and let low level players engage them?
The possibilities are infinite. Just let the randomness happen
