Moonkin are great for boosting raid DPS, but their current DPS is simply lacking.IFF gives 3% hit for the raid, Moonkin Aura 5% crit and IMA another 3% haste (correct me if I'm wrong). And another battle rezz always comes in handy at some point, doesn't it?I agree that mages should have higher DPS than moonkin, but it shouldn't be as much of a difference as it is today. Mages already rock at AoE damage and AoE mana-efficieny, where moonkin (at least in my case) easily find themselves OOM after spamming their AoE.What annoys me most is that mages, with their 'pure' DPS role, have a relatively simple rotation. Even the fun Arcane rotation (3.0) was 'buffed' with 3.2 and It's simply just another boring rotation like Frostfire and Frost. Whereas Moonkin, as hybrid DPS, have a rather hectic rotation in combination with mediocre DPS.In my opninion, all DPS classes should be able to choose in some form or another (through talents/abilities) whether they want a hectic, yet high-DPS rotation OR a simple, yet slightly less-effective DPS rotation. For example: Arcane as hectic top DPS, Frost as simpler rotation DPS. This way, hardcore PvE'rs can optimize more towards perfecting their hectic rotation and dealing top damage and the more casual players can easily put out nice DPS, without having to deal with a hectic rotation.

Druids do have that option... Moonkin = simpler rotation (relatively speaking) and lower DPS and Kitty = "John F#*%ing Madden" crazy rotaion with higher DPS.

That's entirely correct, good point. However, I'm referring to all classes here, that includes, for example, mages, who currently have 4 possible PvE specs (Arcane, Frost, Frostfire or Fire), all of which have a dull rotation (imo) since 3.2. I am of course not speaking on behalf of all the mages out there (many mages like a steady, simple high-DPS rotation, no doubt), but I found the rotations too dull and stopped playing my mage because of it. Now I'm playing a lot with my moonkin, and, like I said above, they have a much more interesting rotation. If that means lower DPS than my mage, so be it.
