Breakfast topic: What will you set your armory pose as?

I am having way too much fun with the new armory features. My favorite part? Getting to set the pose my character takes when players start looking me up. There are so many to choose from. There are the dance poses, the wave, the bow, the salute and so forth. I figure the top left one demonstrates my athletic ability. We dwarves are known for our jumping prowess after all! I suppose I could just moon the viewer with the top right one. That wouldn't be appropriate though, would it?
Ah ha! What about the thoughtful dwarf in the bottom left? He's stroking his beard while thinking about a potentially life changing decision such as chocolate chip or oatmeal. I suppose the classic option would be to go for the traditional wave in the bottom right.
Yeah, I suppose that will do.
What about you? What are you setting your armory pose as?

As rogue:
1. bow or crouch
2. scroll upwards, so that your character is no longer in the screen
3. INVISABAL NINJA POAWERZ!! - you haz it

I havn't got a chance to mess with it yet. Looks cool though. Also is anyone else having issues with i.wow.com working correctly. For me the main site is in correct iPhone format, but the articles are not. However up until a week ago they were.

Same issue here. It actually seemed to have started after I asked for relative links In posts so "Page 2" doesn't take me to the www version. I'm sure it's not related, but as a paranoid I'm always thinking they're out to get me.
Anyway, please help us mobile types out wow.com!

Yes I'm also having this problem, but if you really don't like the www page you can just delete "www" and put in "I" in the address bar.

When I view wow.com pages, it's always in the same format as with my laptop. However, it crashes very often (the browser just closes, going back to the home screen and forgetting some/all of my history). I think it might be to do with the ads etc on the page, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know why this is?

I've had this exact problem for about week now. Mobile i.wow.com links open to the standard website version and promptly crash to desktop.
I feel your pain and glad to know it wasn't just me.

It's not just wow.com either, it's all of Weblogs, Inc. sites. Autoblog.com is doing the same thing.

With my Dwarf, I went with the mooning option, also :P
Guess I'm not so original after all.

With my Draenei Hunter, I think I'm going to use the Terminator-style gun reload animation. Best reason to roll a male Draenei Hunter, by far.
Draol Jan 17th 2010 12:54PM
As my hunter, I would do this if not for the reason that my shoulders of the zero peripheral vision (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=50792) go straight into my face in the reload, ready fire, or fire positions.
Vaeku Jan 17th 2010 1:52PM
Yeah, I have some shoulders from a satchel of helpful goods that sorta mess up the vision, but for one part of the reloading pose it looks fine.
It even looks bad for melee stances.

/Flex, when I get around to it.

For my arcane mage, probably one of the casting animations. Is it possible to pose with your weapon(s) out? I'd like to do that for my DK, assuming I ever get her out of the standard DK equipment. @_@

Nothing really, because I dont want to make peoples browser crash/load ages with some 3 fps dance pose. Its like music that autoplays on myspace profiles, I never understood why people want to force people to listen it. If people really want to make pose to my toon they are happy to do so themselves.
Valt Jan 17th 2010 8:45AM
err, disregard this. I thought the pose was that they used the animation you select (like dance) and repeat it all over again. But still not gonna use it really. My toons animations are not that great.

No need to change anything, all characters look more or less the same in their T9's anyway, since we don't have any ways to customize armor looks, like in Warhammer or LOTRO (with trophies and badges and dyes).

i ahve to agree with you. Im fine with the easy tier gear, but the fact that all 3 levels of it look exatcly the same is a little strange, i mean at least in ulduar you could see who was in 25mans. And don't even get me started on using tier models on non tier gear.........
videvekartuspaan Jan 17th 2010 10:16AM
damnit im never typing before my coffee again.
Grumaya Jan 17th 2010 8:57AM
I love this pose, an awful lot.
