When I use it, it doesn't last the full 30 seconds it would if it was absorbing nothing.

it absorbs 4300 damage, which if you have around 24-27k which you usually do in a 25 man adds up to make it so you can live through an exhale with only 2 stacks of inoculate. tho it is still advisable to have all 3.
