Everyone in the range group and everyone in the melee group, creating only two piles, groups and gathers for the spore buff in the same spot. That way there's no "Where's the spore?" game each time. On ten man we place someone like a hunter a little bit in front of the door, and the warlocks place their portals under their feet. The mages blink in their directions, and the other ranged just run. Makes it much easier.
Also. If your healers seem week, you can smack Shadow Protection every time it's up to help keep yourself alive while the gas clouds are out. If you missed a spore, not only does soul link help, I also stop what I'm doing and hit Death Coil and Drain Life and then keep a finger over my healthstones. (I've actually gone without any spores because someone ran the wrong way on 25 man our first attempt and I was determined to live!)
