Reminder: The Crimson Halls open tomorrow

The Crimson Halls highlights the San'layn, the undead blood elven lieutenants of the Lich King. We'll be facing off against the Blood Princes Valanar, Keleseth and Taldaram as one cohesive unit as the first 'boss' before facing down the Blood Queen Lana'thel. Knowledge of these encounters is currently extremely limited, but you can check out our impressions of the Blood Queen encounter as it was on the PTR.
The opening of a new wing also means we'll be getting 5 more attempts at the major bosses in the zone (

Note that Saurfang is not limited by attempts, only Putricide and Lana'thel.

All bosses with limited attempts are Professor Putricide, Lana'thel, Sindragosa and Lich King.

Im wondering is Blood queen easier than Professor. Kinda same happened in ToC with Jaraxxus. Beasts were kinda harder than him at the end.
Anyone could tell?

That's a nice staff, but with higher agility than Stamina and a Yellow Socket I'd say it more of a Cat weapon than Bear.

Judging by the earlier impressions, it sounds like a really interesting fight. Kind of makes me wish I could win the lottery or something so I'd have the time to get my mage geared for raids. *grin*
Question, though: does anyone know if there will be any more 5-mans in the remaining ICC content that's yet to be opened? Or is it all raids all the time after the already-open 5-mans? Thanks in advance.

I was under the impression that only the Professor would get bumped to 15 while Lana'thel would be 10. When the forth wing opened, then Professor would get 20 and Lana'thel would get 15. Was I told wrong?

What's going to happen is the attempts are shared. You'll have 15 attempts for BOTH putricide and blood queen. That means after 15 wipes between both of those fights, you'll be forced to retreat.

The consensus atm is that the last boss of every wing will ALL share the same pool of attempts. Meaning that when they increase it to 15 tomorrow, both Putricide and the Blood Queen will share those 15. So in essence you could use up all 15 attempts on Putricide if you really wanted to, or vice-versa...or split them 7-8, etc.

At 90 Frost Emblems for some of the T10 gear and all the other sweet items, we need all the bosses we can get!
I'm not a huge fan of running random heroics, so the addition of more emblem bearing bosses helps a lot.

How many emblems are we looking at now for a full ICC clear with the new wing open?
I've only managed to get past Deathbringer and wipe on the others.
