"Heroics are a horrible metric for your DPS. Your DPS will vary depending on what heroic you get, what classes you're with, and how well they perform. Generally the better the DPS of the group, the lower your individual DPS will be. Expect your DPS to vary wildly, even between runs of the same instance."This is an excellent statement and I should try to macro it. Then when the next 2 DKs from the same guild start screaming at me about my dps because they keep pulling my targets out of my range, I can say, "Wow.com says it all". The healer in the group was so frustrated with them going out of range she whispered that she was going to let them die. I have never, that I can remember, laughed so hard in a Pug. This article is great because I've been trying to eek out more dps. I know 5-mans aren't a real good test of a new shot rotation, but as I'm trying new things, they are reasonably safe. I'm going to have to run some 5-mans now and see if the tweaks mentioned here help.
