I think any race that does not use the same number of polygons as the newer races needs the upgrade period.

At least bring them up to the TBC race’s standards. Whenever I switch from my Draenei to my Night Elf, it becomes glaringly apparent that one was designed with more primitive technology. Tauren are probably the most obvious in terms of resolution, given how covered in hair they are. Put a Tauren up to a Taunka sometime and you’ll see how far fur texturing has come in the last five years. I don’t need all these races to look they were created by Industrial Light and Magic, but our own characters, the lead players and protagonists of the story, should at least be visually on par with the most advanced graphics in the game.
