Yes, I totally agree about the animations. The female troll looks so graceful on the loading screen and I was really in love with them until I rolled one. I couldn't get through a full level watching that running animation.

The gnome models/animations could use a lot of help too. The lack of polygons is really obvious there. I'm not sure about the males but my female gnome has two sets of knees, one where her mid-thigh should be and another at mid-shin. When she jumps it looks like her legs pick up and move forward relative to her body, like they aren't actually connected under that robe. o_O
