Apoligies for the possible attack I am about to make.
WoW.com does alot of good stuff, and I appreciate that a website such as this takes alot of effort to run and organise. The phyiscal threats that you mentioned towards WoW.com staff were indeed to far although I don't know if you recieved these by e-mail or the comments were deleted on the old thread. Im not saying "SS or it didnt happen" but I guess your word is good enough for this front.
Now I've done sucking up about time I got to the meat. Dropping the drama section is a bad dacision. Period. You might say that a few vocal people aren't a majority but you know as well as the rest of us that the internet is full of silents that will never or very rarely post an opinion are make them known past the "whos logged on" box. For me it comes down to a simple argument. If people don't like the drama that was in this section, then don't read it. The sections are clearly set out in big bold lettering so getting past it only requires a couple of mouse scrolls. Possibly a bad example, but do you read the horoscopes in your daily paper? I'm yet to met someone that doesn't just skip past it. But I bet the paper keeps it in anyway because a small majority like it. You say people can go to other places to get a drama fix, seems rather silly to be taking away something that gives wow.com it's varaity. So yeah, sorry lisa, but like the class specific threats Im just gonna skip past this article, and I urge everyone else to do the same from now on if you want drama back.
Please don't patronise us with statistics we are not aloud to see or know. It only frustrates us more. It feels like you know what's better for us and your protecting us somehow. Unless these statistics are a fabrication, which I severely doubt. Although if they are you are just digging yourself a bigger hole. If people just skip past this article that just want drama, then maybe these statistics will shed a much clearler light on the drama/dramaless argument.
I was going to mention something as the real reason I thought a week ago you started halting the drama. I'll not post it in fear of causing a flame war, but was something a about the political correctness brigigade gaining yet more stupid ground but i'll leave my thoughts on that depending on a reply to this, if I even get a reply.

BREAKING NEWS: Dickhead ninjas loot, empties guild bank and moves to a new server.
I mean, how many times you can vary this theme and still keep it interesting? FOX News notwithstanding, how often does any news outlet repeat the same old story ad nauseum?
Statistics be damned! Just come right out and say "we don't feel like writing about some slopehead who hasn't got the home training necessary to keep his own ass clean." I am behind you 100%. This is YOUR publication. Nobody plunking into this comment section pays you. Do what you think is write (sic) and you will win followers with your integrity.
