I think just as many healing problems come from trying to do to much, like your tank healer trying to help out riad healing and missin his tank heal.

As a tree, I usually get told to "raid heal." Well, tanks are members of the raid. For that matter, when tank healing, the tank does not always need my undivided attention. Fact is, I can not just watch a health bar go down without doing something about it. For one, I don't know what might be happening with that other healer - they could be running out of the glowing circle of death on the floor, or getting hit with a lag spike, or what have you.

@Arbolamante - That part isn't the issue. The problem comes when someone assigned to tank healing gets so caught up in 'helping' the raid healers that the raid healers have to take over healing that tank or the tank dies because his or her healer was too busy healing someone who was throwing a party in some fire. You may not do that, but I assure you that there are healers out there who do.
