Update 6:45pm: The realms are expected to be back up by 7:30pm EST.
Update 6:27pm: The Realm Status forum has posted the realms affected, which we have listed after the break.

My realm, Cenarion Circle is down. These are also shown as Offline in realm selection:

Thrall Server crashes every day at least once or twice if not more "World Server is Down" and they never post that one.

I'm surprised. I have toons on Lightbringer, which is in that battlegroup and based in Seattle but I dont see it on the list.

weird... Lightbringer is up (and not on the list), and it's in Whirlwind... maybe it's a specific issue to certain servers in the battlegroup.

I say this every time Emberstorm goes down; it's like...my personal catchphrase. Yeah.
So anyway. I'm having a naked tauren party on Thunderhorn if anyone wants to join. I'll be on Niska, my druid.

I'm off work in an hour or so and We have ICC scheduled for late tonight! The weather has been great all day in greater Vancouver, I assume it's nice in Seattle too. I hope it gets fixed soon because there is no "Bad Weather" excuse this time.

Hate to say it, but since i live like 30 mins from Seattle, it's only cloudy over here (light showers in some spots) so I don't think it's due to "Bad Weather."

Smack dab in the middle of Seattle here. Sunny and clear. Some light showers earlier. So, better than usual for this time of year. *Not* due to weather.

I got an update from AT$T data services today and there is a massive storm system in Northern California (maybe further North too, they only included the CA map though) and AT$T has a lot of sites completely down there. So this may be impacting Blizzard's servers.

If the Wowwiki link above on battle groups is accurate, then it's probably not likely to be an AT&T related issue.

It goes down more.
If I did not have four toons to transfer + wife's toons, would pay for transfer. But I am to cheap to transfer & I am to lazy to start over. *poor me!*
I live in Tacoma (30 min south of Seattle), maybe blizz will be hiring in my area soon. LOL!

Frostmourne (Oceanic realm) has been laggy as hell for the last few days.
Are we the only ones that were getting this?
I assume from these problems that it was a wide spread problem?
