WoW Moviewatch: SABR Recruitment Ad

Today's video is the SABR Recruitment Ad, for the SABR Guild on the Wyrmrest Accord roleplay server. SABR stands for Special Action Battle Regiment, so the video is an apt parody for the Army Strong advertisements. The SABR version follows the same flow as the original Army video, and has the same general epic feel.
This kind of video can be a lot of fun for a guild, and my hat's off to SABR for their work. Here's hoping it works out for them.

That felt a little anticlimactic.
On the other hand, it is more effort shown than I've seen from most guilds that I've worked with.
Overall? Thumbs up. :)

Machinima? 1/10
Guild recruitment ad? 8/10 for being less than a minute long and being straight to the point.

Guild recruitment videos are rarely the best machinima but I love how they show guilds going that extra bit to get members.
Maybe you all could throw more of the recruitment videos you find in the new guild news feature with the other recruitment stuff.

Well, I'll have to agree it isn't the best machinima, but it's a nice recruitment video.
Better then our recruitment video at least. ^_^

"A type of machinima that we don't see very often are recruiting videos. There's certainly been a few, like the Scytheguard Recruitment Video. But they tend to be relatively few and far between. Creating a recruiting video can be a lot of work for what most guilds consider not enough payoff."
Wasn't the entire "Tales of the Past" series a recruitment ad? >.>

Wow... somebody is just learning the functionality of their video editing software. There are FRAPs that are edited better than this.
