I'm pretty sure fan works aren't considered copyright infringement, hell Blizzard has a fanart section on their site. If he tried to sell it, that would be different matter of course.

Awesome work btw, I do some sculpture too so I know how time consuming difficult and expensive it can be! Not enough hours in the day..
