Can anyone explain me why is the portal bigger on the Draenor side? wouldn't demons bump their head against it trying to invade Azeroth?

It's because they leveled down upon stepping through, kinda like if you fight an imp or succubus in desolace or an infernal in ashenvale, they're much smaller than the ones on the other side of the portal
