The Warcraft twitter account just linked to a new page on the official World of Warcraft site regarding Invincible. This stallion served Arthas in life as his mount. Unfortunately, Arthas worked his mount a little too hard and slipped on ice. Arthas had no choice but to give Invincible a merciful death. (You can find more details about the story if you've read Arthas: Rise of the Lich King by Christie Golden.) When Arthas became the Lich King, he visited Invincible's grave and raised him from the dead in order to serve him.
How do you get him?
Oh, it's fairly simple to get. This pony can't get hungry, tired, or feel pain. Great for a Lich King to use when traveling around, right? All you have to do is pry it from Arthas' cold, dead hands. Beat Arthas in Icecrown Citadel on heroic mode, and Invincible will serve you.
But we don't know if everyone in the raid is going to get one (like Ulduar drakes) or if only one mount will drop (akin to killing Sartharion with 3 drakes up or the Mimiron head mount from Yogg-Saron).

hmmm....well if its linked to the "Heroic: The Frozen Throne" achievement then everyone who's there when the LK dies will get one. However if its a drop off Arthas, then it sounds like your guilds loot policy will be the deciding factor.
Hopefully if it is a drop its more along the lines of Mimiron's Head and Twilight Drake (100% drop rate) instead of Al'ar (1% drop rate).
Something tells me that the Lich King is going to be one of the hardest fights in the game. Not just because of the mechanics, but also because of the limited attempts you get to fight him. And I have a feeling that Heroic Mode is going to be the most difficult and challenging fights the devs have ever "throne" at us (hahaha...see what I did there?).
Bad puns aside, anyone flying around on Invincible will have EARNED it.

Also, want want WANT. Such an awesome looking mount (and great lore-wise for a paladin or death night to be riding imho) and the Invincible track Blizz released? BEAUTIFUL. Can't wait for the Lich King raid to be released! =D

Don't forget rolling 100 against a ton of people trying the old "/roll 99-100" trick who have to get a 99 for you to win, then waiting a few hours on your GM ticket as the ML ninjas it anyway.

So I hope this count for both 10 and 25 man raids then? Because it'll suck if it's only up for grabs in 25.

Does it drop on 10-man and 25-man heroic LK, or just 25? I doubt I'd ever get my hands on one, but as someone who pretty much exclusively does 10-mans, it'd be nice to know if it were even available.

This is the *Lich-King's* mount. It has to be epic. 400% flying speed, 200% ground speed. When you mount, there is a thunderclap.

Fact: Moose are THE most LETHAL animal in North America. Check the statistics, it's not a predator that's most likely to KEEL you in the bush.
The absence of Moose from Northrend was a HUGE oversight on Blizz's part. ;-p Any land w/ orca should have moose that can MESS YOU UP, especially in the Spring. ;)

Sad thing is, watch they limited it to - first guild to kill him as well as enter a whole new reason for ninjas and QQing if that's a one only drop per Arthas kill each week.
