One of these days someone needs to do a post comparing and contrasting Grid, Healbot and VuhDo and really just breaking it all down. It seems like any and all of the programs work fine (I still use healbot in part because it works so why change a good thing) but I'd be curious to see some side by side comparison of features, ease of use etc...

Please!
Right now i will stick to HealBot as this article didn't really give a compelling reason to try Vuhdu. I guess you could say I'm going to stay away from the Vuhdu mon.

I've done Grid vs Healbot, and just recently I posted on the PlusHeal and official Healing forums to ask for people to help me put together a Grid, Healbot, Vuhdo, Pitbull, Xperl (etc) comparison.. but I only got one reply.

I agree completely, I've never used healbot, I went straight for Grid and Clique, and it works great for me, but I am curious to try Vuhdo but reading this article it really doesn't seem all that different, Grid really isn't that hard to customize once you play around and figure it all out. But yes, a comparison of all these healing add ons would be great, then we can see which ones have what and which ones would fit play-styles better.

matt had this idea already. see it's right there at the end of the article :
"There are other setups and addons of course, and I'll be writing a post comparing them all at some point in the future."

I never really understood these. I use grid and mouseover macros. I would love to be able to actually mouse or keybind but I have alt-itis and the transition between which character I am playing would be very difficult. Its bad enough I am trying to Lifetap my priest and Horn of Winter my hunter. It shows me everything and it just took a few minutes to set the macros. Maybe a cross comparision would tell me what I was missing.

I currently use a combo of XPerl+Clique+Grid. I do a LOT of 5mans, so being able to see my party mates' targets is a very big feature for me. so far, only XPerl lets me see who is targetting what, and defaults ALL debuffs to on(no need for a custom list which i've found is a hassle). I checked out VuhDo a while back, and it did not have this feature, have they added it since? I only use Grid for HoT timers on my druid. I'd love to consolidate all 3 addons into 1

Yes, Vuhdo does have an option to show your targets target.
