Around Azeroth: Fire and brimstone
What's the proper term for a gathering of warlocks? A conclave? A summoning? A coven? Ah, yes -- a hellraising. Michael wrote in to inform us of such a meeting, which occurred last night in the bowels of Karazhan on the Moon Guard server. "Warlocks of every race were there, as well as a few gate-crashers of a nonwarlock type in disguise," he writes. "This is a picture of us surrounding a pit of infernal fire, basking in our vileness. Afterwards, there was a fearsomeness pageant and storytelling around the campfire."
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here.

The best thing to do regarding server-wide events on MG is to check out the official forums regularly. This event was posted there for at least a couple weeks in advance, and made many pages' worth of replies before the actual event itself kicked off.
The next really big event Moon Guard's putting on is a cross-faction roleplayed walk for cancer (due to February 14 being National Donor Day), which is expected to draw in at least a hundred, if not more, players both IC and OOC. Information for this, too, is posted on the official Moon Guard forums, which can be found at http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/board.html?forumId=69371&sort=1&desc=true&sid=1&pageNo=1

Just don't do anything rash, like summon the burning legion... or free Deathwing...

Except that ONE time...

All hail the new leader of the horde, Abesik Hellfire!

According to this gentleman, the proper term for a group of warlocks is "coventry".

i'm kind of thinking "a rash of warlocks" works well for me. : P
seriously, though, that's a really nice shot.

Is not a comment about wow pic.I wanna share my experience.
I played wow from the begin and I stop 2years ago,not because I was bore, I move in another continent for study and now for work.
The last week I download the trial and now I upgrade to the normal version.I can say I am pretty impress about the progress blizzard make on this game. I levelling a Druid the same class I used for four years and is a lot different in better.
On the begin was really hard to lev a Druid is really long story .
Anyway the new lfg and the new profession and how is balance the Druid class is really good .

I bet one of the crashers was Christian Belt!
He heard about the event and was trying to drop a little present:
a huge fireball of burning warlock-y flesh! ^^

Wish I coulda been there... pretty much the only horde I give any slack in World PvP encounters are fellow Warlocks for we warlocks are more affiliated with the dark powers of the nether than with the Alliance or Horde... I really wish there was an in game neutral warlock faction like the Ebon Blade or Kirin Tor but I suppose if the warlocks of the world tried to organize, the various goody two shoe faction leaders would try to disband it...

Strange - I always thought the collective noun for Warlocks was "an incantation"
