Around Azeroth: You can run but you can't hide
Before you die, you see ... this thing. Elinu of <Cthulu> on Alonsus-EU was attempting Festergut with his guild this weekend, and happened to be the last survivor on one of their many wipes. She grabbed this shot of the approaching boss (plus aggro warning) shortly before being stomped into a nature-infused smear on the floor.
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here.

This boss is perfect example to illustrate why I hate entire WoLK content. Not just "not fan", I really hate it! WoLK makes me sick.
I don't understand Blizzard's sick addiction to stinky rotten flesh, to lepra-monsters, and living fibrosis tumours. I totally agree with Chinese government. It's sickness.

Okay BlackTIger. The Lich King, ruler of all undead, will from now on make sure he only picks out the corpses that just died, and will make sure they smell like flowers.
Grow up. If you don't like it, go play a different game that doesn't have Undead monstrosities in it.

I was also amazed that an expansion focusing on a war against the undead features fights against undead.
I also feel that if people had their attention drawn to the fact that we are made of meat and bones, and that those materials are transitory in nature, then society as we know it will crumble.

I am totally with you! I mean, I totally think fuzzy kittens (with apologies to Mr. Bigglesworth,) bunnies, rainbows, lollipop gardens and the delicate heavenly voices of angelic choirs when I think legions and legions of undead & zombies hellbent on distinguishing all life from an already warn torn fictional construct.
I was okay with Outland. Everything was purple and shiny there anyway. Everyone was jealous of how fabulously pink and purple some of those Paladins were.
But don't worry....I've already petitioned the GM to make all deathchargers pink. I'm confident that they'll consider this.

go play hello kitty island adventure :|

This just in: The Lich King's legion of monsters raised and/or constructed from the bodies of his fallen enemies are gross and stinky. More on this shocking development at 11! But first, here's Skip McChatterson with sports.

My friend across the hall was playing half-life 2 the other day. He showed me one part involving a particular breed of zombie that he lovingly refers to as F@#%s because they move super-fast and have long claws growing from their fingers. At the time I was killing grizzly bears in Grizzly Hills for butt meat, and it occurred to me that Wow distinctly lacks any sort of adrenaline factor.

First thing I thought when I saw the picture was that the way the ceiling supports are behind him, it looks like he has Mal'Ganis' wings.
BlackTiger™ Feb 1st 2010 10:23AM
People... You're so sick...
Reuben Feb 1st 2010 10:28AM
We're not sick, we're just not uptight.
It's just a game.
Danketsu Feb 1st 2010 11:29AM
Giygas says hi!
Skarlette Feb 1st 2010 12:35PM
It's not us, it's the Lich King! Blame him!

Helpful tip: If you find yourself agreeing with the Chinese Government, you've got some soul searching in your future.
snarkygoldfish Feb 1st 2010 10:30AM
So what do you think about juggalos?
snarkygoldfish Feb 1st 2010 10:31AM
directed towards our copywritten tiger friend, of course. This comment system makes me sad. :(

Nature-infused? All the gas is shadow damage!
Pyromelter Feb 1st 2010 11:40AM
My understanding is that it is considered "shadowstorm" damage - shadow and nature damage (similar to how frostfire bolt is both fire and frost). Lowest resistence is the one that gets counted.
