Honestly the only thing that's ruining Heroic random runs is dbag elitists. They're only heroics people, it's not like it's Heroic ICC25. You don't need 5K DPS or 35K HP.

As for the emblems? No, they've made heroics more accessible even to the fresh dinged 80. It's a great incentive for people, myself included, to start playing their less geared alts or even roll a new one.
