Patch 3.3.2: Fall of the Lich King sound files

We're in heavy spoiler territory yet again with datamined sound files straight out of Patch 3.3.2, so we've hidden the video containing them behind the cut below. Do not click through the break to watch the video if you do not want to be thoroughly spoiled. The sound files contain lines spoken before, during and after the final confrontation with the Lich King. If you do choose to watch/listen, please don't run around spoiling your fellow players. Let them make that decision on their own.

Jaina: What's this? He kept it? All this time, he kept it… I knew! I sensed a part of him still alive. Trapped… struggling… Oh Arthas, perhaps… Perhaps he might someday remember what he once was. By the light, may he at last find rest, free from the icy grip of that terrible blade.

Muradin: Oh lad, how I missed those endless days in Lordaeron, sharpening your skill with this dull blade. Forging you into a weapon meant to withstand the demands of a great destiny. Heh… You sure put them skills to use, didn't you lad? If only I'd been able to stop you that day, how different things migha' been. If only I'da never discovered that accursed blade. Farewell, Arthas, my brother.

Sylvanas: So, it is done. I had not dared to trust my senses. Too many times has the Lich King made me to be a fool. Finally, he has been made to pay for the atrocities he imposed upon my people. May Azeroth never fail to remember the horrible price we paid for our weakness, for our pride. But what now, Hero? What of those freed from his grasp but still shackled to their mortal coils? Leave me. I have much to ponder.

Uther: Arthas… Alas, Hero of Azeroth, you give me a greater gift than you know. Long have I struggled to forgive the prince for his terrible transgressions, my soul has been racked with unbearable anxiety, dark thoughts, distancing me from the light. I recall clearly the gleam of pride in his eye as he stood before me, eager to defeat the enemies of the light, eager to defend his people no matter the cost. It is this memory of Arthas that I choose to keep in my heart. I shall always be in your debt, friend. Thank you.

Ternas: You have come to bring Arthas to justice, to see the Lich King destroyed? First, you must escape Frostmourne's hold, or be damned as I am, trapped within this cursed blade for all eternity. Aid me in destroying these tortured souls. Together we will loosen Frostmourne's hold and weaken the Lich King from within! Free! At last! It is over, my son. This is the moment of reckoning! Rise up, Champions of the Light!

Bolvar: Lots of choking/coughing.

Tirion: We'll grant you a swift death, Arthas. More than can be said for the thousands you've tortured and slain! So be it! Champions, attack! Light, grant me one final blessing. Give me the strength to shatter these bonds… No more, Arthas! No more lives will be consumed by your hatred. The Lich King must fall!

Lich King: So, the Light's vaunted justice has finally arrived! Shall I lay down Frostmourne and throw myself at your mercy, Fordring? You'll learn of that firsthand when my work is complete, you will beg for mercy and I will deny you. Your anguished cries will be testament to my unbridled power. I'll keep you alive to witness the end, Fordring, I would not want the Light's greatest champion to miss seeing this wretched world remade in my image.

Come then, Champions, feed me your rage. No questions remain unanswered, no doubts linger, you are Azeroth's greatest champions, you overcame every challenge I laid before you, my mightiest servants have fallen before your relentless onslaught, your unbridled fury… Is it truly righteousness that drives you? I wonder… You trained them well, Fordring, you delivered the greatest fighting force this world has ever seen right into my hands… Exactly as I intended! You shall be rewarded for your unwitting sacrifice. Watch now, as I raise them from the dead, to become masters of the scourge! They will shroud this world in chaos and destruction! Azeroth's fall… will come at their hands! And you will be the first…. to die! Muahahaha. I delight in the irony.

Impossible! Bah! You gnats actually hurt me! Perhaps I've toyed with you long enough! Now, taste the vengeance of the grave! Aaaargh! Now I stand the lion before the lambs and they do not fear… they cannot fear…

Frostmourne attacks: Frostmourne hungers! Frostmourne feeds on the soul of your fallen ally! Death, Frostmourne, obey me!

Various attack sounds:
Enrage: Face now, your tragic end!
Summon Valkyr; Valkyr, your master calls!
Winter start: I will freeze you from within until all that remains is an icy husk! Watch as the world around you collapses!
Apocalypse!
Bow down before your lord and master!
(Something I couldn't make out) The end has come!

The part you couldn't make out is him saying "Hope wanes!"

And the third Frostmourne attack line doesn't actually start with "death" it's more like a gasping/grunting sound because I guess Frostmourne is starting to act on it's own...

The Terenas clips get me all atwitter. In conjunction with the abilities listed on MMO Champion, it's very telling about the nature of the fight. Sounds like we'll be fighting our way out of Frostmourne's grip from within and ultimately destroying it.

I'm sorry, but I can't stand that Jaina cries every other damn time she says something. Yes, I understand that it's hard to face somebody you once loved, and probably still love, but...

Well, you go through the later part of your life worried that the love of your life was a true monster, you recently see things that make you believe it even moreso, and now we find out something from Arthas' body that must show that he still had some sense of humanity left and thought about her...well, geez, even the toughest skinned person would cry a bit at that. It's not a bad thing.

But hey, whatever, Jaina x Thrall for life now.

Consider also one of her other loves, Kael'thas, became a villian in the last expansion pack. Also consider that Thrall, the closest thing she currently has to a best friend and potential lover, is both an orc, and the leader of the faction her king wants to wipe out of existence.

Jaina is Azeroth's buttmonkey when it comes to relationships. You can't exactly blame her for wanting to shed some tears once in a while.

Hence why I said 'potential' lovers, not 'totally getting it on in the backstreets of Orgrimmar after hours.' I honestly don't think they are, but it wouldn't at all surprise me if Mezten came out and said 'HEY GUYS, MEET BABY ORGRIM PROUDMOORE!'

Most likely in a comic-book tie-in. Ugh.

The point is that everyone Jaina has been close too, she's had a strained relationship with. Arthas (her former lover) and Kael'thas (a wannabe lover whom she had to turn down) both went evil, decided to take over the world and were killed, and her professional and personal relationship with Thrall is under stress now Varian doesn't want peace with the Horde. I'd be a bit depressed if I had to go through all that.

Dude, if I were Thrall, I'd be bolting asap.

"Sleep with Jaina, become an evil force that has to be killed at least twice..."
