In-game fixes for February 3rd

- Blood Queen Lana'thel will now begin her flight phase a little earlier in 25 player mode, Vampiric Bite is no longer mitigated by armor, and the damage of Vampiric Bite has been reduced.
- Toravon will now be affected appropriately by Area-of-Effect damage spells.
- The Frost Orb corpses in the Toravon encounter will now despawn faster.
- Players who are dead will now get credit as intended when defeating the Valithira Dreamwalker encounter.
- Players can no longer zone in while the Valithria Dreamwalker encounter is active.
- Anti Magic Shell no longer resets the Mystic Buffet stacks in the Sindragosa encounter.
- The Val'kyr in the Lich King encounter are no longer affected by Death Grip and will head to ledges faster.

I'm seriously hoping they do something to smooth out the ooze merges with Rotface. Its driving my raid group insane!

Seriously! Our 10 man group finally downed him/her tonight, but it took several attempts over a couple of nights and a little luck.

I usually just run straight for the slime...dispel myself and they merge instantly...rarely even take a tick of dmg from the aura.

yeah, 3rd healer w/ a dispel set up to focus on the person about to spawn a little slime, makes it a lot easier and slimes always merge when dispelled*inside* the ooze

Anyone know if the Saurfang bug with him generating too much runic power has been fixed?

We've just deployed a hotfix that reduces Saurfang's blood power gain from ability damage back to 3.2.2 values. There was also a minor visual range issue with Blood Nova that was fixed.

I don't see anywhere where it is mentioned, but they nerfed the, "I've gone and Made a Mess (25)". It used to be 3 Marks of the Fallen Champion.....now it's 5.
I don't know why they bothered to do this, in 10-man we can beat him before it hits ONE mark.

This was always 5 marks on 25-man and 3 marks on 10-man.

So does this mean the hugely increased blood power generation on Saurfang is 'working as intended'? We've seen lots of reports of groups having to deal with a huge increase of Mark of the Fallen Champion and no one seems to figure out exactly why.

Is it because you were using a disc priest before? I know that absorbs used to prevent blood power generation but with this patch they no longer do.

No no im my raid group the blood nova targeted the melle a couple of times causes MASS blood power.

We found two things:
-If you were using the strat of having your range stack on each other in 2's to minimize blood nova runic power, and since shields dont block it anymore, this strat doesnt work. Everyone at range needs to be spread out, making real estate for where to stand much tighter
-Boiling blood splashes (or was bugged, who knows) so any melee that got it would run out to the doorway and stay 11m apart. After we changed these two things about our strat we downed him just fine.

It had nothing to do with Disc priests, he was actually gaining two points per tick of boiling blood.
And yes, its fixed.

So engineering had a purpose for one day besides making bullets for hunters?
How do people actually figure out these bugs...I mean did they just say "hey guys, throw a bunch of saronite bombs on him...maybe it'll kill him faster!"
And wtf about the death grip thing? Making them fly out faster...making them un-grippable...sure the joke from ensidia first learning about the valkyr carrying off their raid members was funny but...now the main point of the DK's ability, pull things closer, is now disabled? Why was it not stopped for ToC with frost spheres?
Ok...why am I nerdraging when I don't play a DK and haven't even gotten to face the Lich King yet due to computer problems?

Well, the valykyr sound to me like the soul in brohnjahm fight: it can't be slowed or DG, so it's a dps race to kill it.
