FWIW, I recently started having a blast with the 'everyquest' add-on that was mentioned somewhere here recently. It's allowing me to go back and casually do all the quests I managed to miss. I even found a quest on Teldrassil that I never knew about despite leveling 3 toons there over the years ("Mist").
