The Queue: Elevator ride

Welcome back to The Queue, WoW.com's daily Q&A column where the WoW.com team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.
Well, hey there, team! Looks like we're gonna be riding this elevator for a while. I guess now would be a great time to answer some reader questions.
Tomatketchup asked...
"In the Dungeon Finder, do you think the rewards for 70-80 still will be emblems, or will they become bags like from 1-69?"
I'm willing to bet that you'll be receiving Satchels from 70-80 instances in the Dungeon Finder once Cataclysm hits. I don't see them giving you an obsolete reward.
Robert asked...
"Is there any documentation on the minimum/maximum level that you can get into dungeons/heroics using the LFG tool?"
Level 15 for normal instances, level 70 for BC heroics, level 80 for Wrath heroics. Specific level requirements vary for each instance.
Tuff asked...
"My question is a technical one. Do you know if it is possible to play wow on a netbook if you save the program files on a flash drive or external hard drive if they dont make flash drives big enough for the game?"
It depends on the netbook, but some can play WoW on very low graphics settings. If you're copying over your WoW folder to your external drive, I'd make sure you lower your graphics settings before you try to open it. And don't expect Crysis.
Jenn asked...
"With the mention of Anduin Lothar in an earlier post, it made me wonder where we as players will fall when the history of current conflicts are written. It seems to me that WoW history, as with our own real life history, has several very centralized characters that particular wars/struggles are namely associated with. With such turbulant times in Azeroth, are we, the players, bound to be the nameless, faceless unsung heroes given a mere mention behind the likes of Garrosh and Varian?"
It's almost certainly our lot to be the nameless adventurers in the phrase "with the help of a group of adventurers..." when referring to the canon deaths of lore antagonists.
Aaron asked...
"I have a quick question. Would it be possible for a very very lucky fury warrior to duel weild Shadowmourne?"
Not possible. Shadowmourne is unique. Fury warriors not so much.
Alpha5099 asked...
"This probably falls under the heading of "We have no idea what'll happen in Cataclysm, stop asking," but I was curious anyway. Two of the recent 101 articles had similar statements: the writers warned that Arcane and Elemental were both frustrating to level largely because a signature spell of the spec is not available until high levels. What do you think the chances are that we might see Lava Burst and Arcane Blast (and any other high end but signature nukes, like Frostfire Bolt) available at much lower levels, particularly as Blizzard is doing away with ranks?"
I'd say "plausible." Blizzard has said that Cataclysm is intended to make leveling more fun and interesting, and they said that that they'll be changing talents, spells, and other facets of gameplay to facilitate that goal. I'd love for lowbie elemental shaman to get Lava Burst earlier than 75. We'll just have to see whether it actually happens.

As a bit of extra information to the first question, level 69 is when the random dungeon option switches from TBC to WotLK heroics.
ResumeMan Feb 5th 2010 5:23PM
I'm fairly certain you mean TBC to WotLK Normal dungeons.
keith Feb 5th 2010 6:15PM
I was confused about this at first, when I hit 68 on an alt. If I'm eligible for WotLK dungeons at 68, why is it still giving me BC randoms? Then I realized I was only eligible for UK at 68, so it wouldn't really be too random, would it...
Docrev Feb 6th 2010 2:25AM
Yeah, meant normal dungeons, not heroics.
Nathanyel Feb 6th 2010 5:11AM
Then again, you can't queue for Nexus until 70, so 69 sounds odd.

For the second question - a tool that shows instances by level - yes, there is one!
http://www.wowwiki.com/Instances_by_level
This chart shows each instance, what the level required to walk through the portal is, and then the recommended level to do the instance. (Recommended level is in parenthesis.)
This page was my bible when hubby and I were leveling up a boatload of toons using the refer-a-friend program.
SlimPickens42 Feb 5th 2010 5:24PM
If I remember correctly the "Atlas" addon also shows this.

http://www.wowwiki.com/Dungeon_Finder#Dungeon_finder_instance_breakdown
It shows the dungeons broken down as they are found in the dungeon finder, with the level requirements for the dungeon segments you can queue for. It also tells you which boss must be killed for it to give you the DF reward...

When is the long-promised Patches of Yesteryear going to be posted? You guys need to keep to your word!
Falcom Feb 5th 2010 6:03PM
Yesterday.
Fairlane Feb 5th 2010 7:33PM
All those columns seemed so far away.
Now we don't know if they're here to stay.
Oh I believe in yesterday.
Yesterday, WoW was such an easy game to play.
Now I need a place to hide away.
Oh I believe in yesterday.
John William Feb 6th 2010 9:00AM
Hey that's not cool @Falcom! I went through WoW.com's RSS feed for the past seven days thinking that I missed my all-time favorite column when you said it was posted "yesterday". >

When Cataclysm comes out do you think it will be possible to level for the first level solely in the current heroics? I ask because I like to reach max level in the expansion as possible simply to pad my bank via gold quest rewards.

Has there been any news about the World of Warcraft Facebook app being fixed? In it's current state, it seems to do nothing.
Vandersveldt Feb 5th 2010 11:26PM
Right now, you have to go into it and look at your feed. Then click share on anything you want to share. I know, it's supposed to do that automatically, but until it starts doing that, you have to do it manually. If this makes you feel a little narcissistic... well you wouldn't have the app if you weren't ^_^

This will likely also fall under "We just don't know", and I know it's getting old, but I'll ask again: What does forwarding phishing scams to hacks@blizzard.com do? Blizzard doesn't shut down anymore websites, so what can they possibly do to these sites with the info we forward?
Possum Feb 5th 2010 5:28PM
:( They don't know..
Possum Feb 5th 2010 5:28PM
Oh and have you tried asking on the forums?
RogueJedi86 Feb 5th 2010 5:30PM
I haven't been subscribed since last July. I still get the phishing scams in e-mails though, and I still forward them to hacks@blizzard.com, so it's curiosity.

wow.com site question instead of wow question. With this new annoyance of spreading articles across 2-4 pages, is there any way to skip to the last page? Already read the article, just want to get to the comments now.
