Man Rich, I'm impressed. What better way to get to know you and your style then to read a 101 article! And you did it in one page! and it was great! (!!!!!!!)I was a little curious about the spec for a second but I totally see the point of taking the points out of improved shields and putting them into the nova talent over in elemental. I also appreciate the (really funny) time you spent explaining weapon speeds, for whatever reason I always for get it and only remember what to do for Rogues, which of course is wrong. And a great break down on how to gem up..Only thing I think you missed is enchants. I understand the same rules as gems generally apply but at least for weapons there's a good bit of choices to go with, Not to mention the dreaded boot enchant debate.Looking forward to seeing a more in depth rotation article when you choose to write one. Welcome and good luck with the writing!

There's not really any weapon enchant choices to make. Anyone who tells you otherwise is only propagating the lie that you have choices. If you're really struggling to get hit capped, don't be afraid to throw a weapon chain on your offhand, especially if you'll be replacing your weapons soon anyway. Otherwise, you have 1 choice, Berserking. Don't let anyone spread rumors about Black Magic being better, it's all an illusion. The change to PPM mechanics a few patches ago made it totally nonviable.
