We could call it Passy-throwball and we'd still love it.You could call soccer "real football", no handsyball, or even Deathball *(tm) and we'd still hate it.I mean, we took the most known, most famous, at one point arguably the best "football" player, brought him to LA and we *still* didn't give a damn. Hell, most Americans couldn't even name one American Soccer team. (Or two worldwide teams)The reason "football" (soccer) is so popular worldwide is that all you need to play it is a ball and maybe a few sticks to mark the goal posts. Any one with an inflated goat bladder and a flat stretch of dirt, grass or sand can play it. (and I mean that with the utmost respect to the game and it's accessibility)
