We don't know when they are hitting the store or how much they will be. But there are several of us who will be checking frequently to find out, so we'll let you know when we do. Well, we might order ours first.

I think this is a good bridge between microtransactions and merchandising. My 4 year olds love to watch daddy "fly on his gryphon" (and mommy on her "hippygriff")
These'll be cute to give them to play with while mommy and I enjoy the in-game treat.
Way to go Blizz. You got more of my money, assuming the cost isn't ridiculous.

I'd rather just buy the pet code then a plush, at least for those two. I just wish they would release some of the Convention pets, namely the tyreal's hilt.

As much as I'd like to see some of the older "exclusive" pets released, I can say that I'm pretty certain that isn't something we're going to see any time soon. If there is anything Blizzard is really good about, it's maintaining the exclusivity of these little "perks" for participating in events, buying games, etc.

I was wondering when these would finally become available.
In regards to not wanting the toy, I agree completely. I don't have anything against the plush toys, I'm just not really interested in them, and having the option to just get the pet code would be nice. It'd also save on shipping me something that'd just end up in the local charity bin.
My mom, however, would dawwwwww incessantly over these(the plush toys *and* the ingame pets). Hopefully I'll be able to get a pair shipped out by Mother's Day.
And the convention pets will probably never be released for sale, sadly. It'd be nice if they could offer similar ones for sale(maybe a re-color and/or a few other tweaks, so the convention ones stay "special" in their rarity, but everyone else gets a shot at enjoying them too), but I think even that's just wishful thinking.

I'm betting we see recolors of the exclusive pets instead of the actual Murky or Tyrael. If you look in WoWmodelviewer, there are something like eight colors of murloc babies, and only two of them have ever been released (Murky and Lurky, blue and white respectively).
In fact, since we now know the name of the green murloc baby (Gurky, the freebie stuffed murloc you got for subscribing to WoW Magazine at Blizzcon), I'd bet that Gurky and some others are coming to the store after these stuffed pets.
(And if they ever do put a murloc baby on sale -- get it. It's still my favorite pet I own, even after all these years.)

They're pretty cute. As a pet collector I so want these, but I can't bring myself to pay actual money for in game pets.
On another note, I hope they make windriders in-game look as good as that little guy!

I am with you on not buying pets. In fact, I was one of the loudest shouters over them adding microtransactions.
... and then my non-WoW-playing brother stuck a code for Lil' K. T. in my Christmas Card, so now I have one whether I like it or not.

They already have an alar in-game pet, rare drop from Kael'thas in Heroic Magister's Terrace, don't know how a plush would fair.
Convention pets like Grunty would be awesome though, but I doubt they'd do it =(
