Mir is correct. Most large corporations have quarterly calls to discuss earnings/strategy/etc. The one at the end of the fiscal year is usually the most important because it discusses how the company met the goals for the past year, the goals for the next year (and often the strategy to meet those goals). Think of it as a State of the Union address for corporations.
