You missed one of the big benefits to this event for low-level characters. The various perfumes and colognes (cost 1 Love Token, get a stack of 5) give you great stats (75 attack power, 45 spell power, or 20 defense) and those aren't scaled by level. Even for 80's those are nice little buffs for dailies (especially since they stack with everything else), but for low-levels there's nothing that'll give you that much of a boost.Make sure your low-level characters smell good -- they'll thank you for it!

And an added bonus to those perfumes/colognes is that, so far, they have no duration or time frame limitation before they disappear so for alt leveling you can stock up on those things and they could easily last you for a very long time.

@Dogii:Actually, GMs confirmed on the forums the other day that, in fact, the Cards/Perfumes/Colognes are set to expire at the end of the 'Love' holiday, despite their lack of an expiration date/duration.http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=23041985191&pageNo=1&sid=1#4

There might not be a specific date or duration, but they do say "Requires Love is in the Air" which I just figured was their new way of saying the same thing.

Except that, only level 80's can actually complete the holiday and get the title. Because you need to pity the love fool inside Naxx, which you cant enter at a lower level (not to mention Culling of Strat at lvl 75). I started a new mage alt recently and thought it would be fun to work on the holiday achievements while I level, and only after having done most of the Love is in the air ones did I discover the c*ckblock that is not being able to step inside Naxx or Culling of Strat.I dont bash Blizz, because I work in the games industry so I have a lot of sympathy for dealing with ungreatful players, but really, what is the point of "fun holiday achievements for casual players" if they put in arbitrary requirements that prevent you from completing the holiday unless you are max level?

Grak, I agree, especially considering how downright near-impossible it is to hit max level these days.

@GnoshSarcasm aside, my point had nothing to do with leveling or its difficulty or lack thereof. My point was that they have put a 'casual' holiday achievement goal just out of reach of any player below max level, even though the majority of the tasks for it can be completed below max level.Putting level restrictions on instances, or raids, or battlegrounds, or gear etc makes sense. But a level restriction on a holiday achievement that rewards you... a title and part of the meta-achievement just doesnt make sense.I have 4 level 80's already, but that doesnt mean I want to rush to max level on a new alt either, especially as I'm playing with a significant other who doesnt level quickly. So my choice is spend all my free time powerleveling to 80 in the next week, or eat the consequence of having to wait for a YEAR for the event to roll around again. And for no real good reason.. theres no gameplay balance at risk here, and certainly seems counter-intuitive to what is supposed to be content for casuals.

Gnosh, I don't think a holiday achievement is casual by definition. Being dead-set on achieving a certain title to me is antithetical to the idea of a casual play, which strikes me as "The content you can, when you can, and let the gear/rewards come when they come."
