WoW Moviewatch: Mangletooth

Mangletooth himself is an old, classic World of Warcraft NPC. RedEyeLobine's video answers the question of what would happen when this old, captured, frustrated NPC grows tired of a two-expansion long imprisonment. The video has a few nice little gags along the way, and is pretty enjoyable for something RedEye says he whipped up quickly.
When he posted Mangletooth, RedEyeLobine took the time to say that he's still working on completing Frontline and Dude What's My Class? He's been busy during exams, and hopes to get them finished. Given the ongoing quality of his work, I certainly look forward to those two releases.

I found the stereotypical Asian voice ruined the video for me. The video itself is very well done, and the ending was funny. I can see why it didn't place though as that really just annoyed me. Nothing really shocks me anymore but this one segment could have been removed and the rest of the video would have still shined.

Lol, it was actually pretty good. The pacing was definitely a strong point.

I was working on a machinima for the contest, but the 3-minute limit was one that just absolutely KILLED the storyline. Too much editing out what I thought to be key parts left it as just a lot of disconnected eyecandy. So, mine will wind up be a lot longer once I get back to working on it again.
This video held it together in that 3-minute limit quite nicely was enjoyable to watch, had some very nice editing and flowed smoothly enough that it didn't seem like some bastardized trailer for something (big props right there!)!
I wish RedEyeLobine all the best in the contest.

This is so full of win. I love it when we see a fun story from a perspective that we have just NEVER seen before. ;) Poor ol Mangletooth. He came so close to world domination. Dam Deathwing. ;)

That. Was. Glorious. Very rarely do we get to see machinima with great, even adequate voice acting, and this comes along like a buffet for my ears. Fantastic!

That was great all around! Just what I needed after a couple hours of forcing my way through dry text-book reading. o_O
I can't even think of any criticisms except the lack of detail in the close-ups on Mangletooth, but of course it can't be helped that most Vanilla models are rather muddy-looking nowadays.

Are you sure? I've never really looked at the Quillboars so I found it quite astonishing that they looked like that.
