Are you sure greens can't be needed? I'm pretty sure several people (including me) have needed greens while in a PUG, at least in places like RFC and SFK. Maybe I'm just reading that tip wrong?

They can't possibly be sure; I've needed on greens as well.

ALSO, unless they've fixed it in the last couple days, the Need before Greed function is pretty broken in lower level dungeons, which can be quite frustrating if you were really hoping for that cloth upgrade and the shammy needed.

it's not that you can't need on greens, its that they have to be armor type specific. Want a leather green when you're a mail wearing hunter? tough luck.
