World of WarCrafts: Digital art, pipe cleaners, Thrall plushie and more

It's another week of catch-up this week, as we pull out the older submissions we didn't have the opportunity to feature in 2009. First up: digital art of Illidan Stormrage, a school project from l1onh3art of DeviantArt. We were completely taken in by the realism -- we thought it was a sculpture at first, too -- but the work is actually done with a digital tool called ZBrush. We can safely say that while this may not be an actual bust, it's definitely no "bust" when it comes to creativity!

Cosplay Trio: FINALLY! PROOF that people who play WoW DO, in fact, go outside...occasionally...at least when it's sunny. Hmm...must be a Tuesday morning.

Unfortunately, they have been shopped onto that background. The shadows are all wrong. So it's just as likely that they were all inside and had separate photos taken. =\

Just for the record blizzard doesn't allow any fan fiction or creative writing using their IP. Even if its not for profit. So you really shouldn't be asking for that.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. They have an entire forum devoted to roleplay outside of the game (aka short fiction for backstory) and last year they had a writing contest with who knows how many entries and websites, to which you can still go around and read.

You must be thinking of Square-Enix, infamous for their "cease and desist" of any and all fan-made stuff (which they did with two Chrono Trigger fan-games and a slew of other stuff).

Zbrush is awesome and just gets better and better with every new release. Which BTW you dont have to pay for its free to all registered users. Those costumes are great and that pipe cleaner druid is off the chain GREAT work peeps.
