The only thing you can do to increase your fps without spending money is to have exactly zero addons running, use the default blizz ui, and video settings to zero. This would be generally inadvisable, because not having an addon to show you your missile barrage procs or to warn you when boss events are incoming is very, very bad. You should suck it up, spend 60 bucks on a new graphics card. Here, I'll recommend one for you:http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4111742&Sku=E145-950470 bucks for a very, very good graphics card that should allow you to run dalaran with minimal to no lag. Hope your v-card is pci-e though...and a whole host of other video cards for 50-100 bucks:http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Category/guidedSearch.asp?CatId=28&sel=Price;Price3Regarding older raids run successfully: Remember that 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3 all included significant graphics updates. Look at the druids, imagine how many more pixels are being rendered on them now. Not to metion spells like Blizzard that have also received updates. Toravon and Koralon have many more graphics-intensive spells than Archavon. If you do not get a graphics card update, it is likely you will never be able to do an encounter like Putricide, which has been hard on many systems, and my guild and many others I've known have seen people's systems crash on that encounter. So yeah, if you are even a semi-serious raider, you really must update your graphics card, sorry to say.
