For warlocks an addon considered essential by many is Necrosis. It does away with a lot of those special skills for creating stones etc in a handy-dandy little floating menu.

And the best thing is the snarky comments that lets party/raid know exactly *who* has been given a soulstone or that a summoning portal or soulwell is being cast. A "sister" addon for mages exists from the same creator called Cryolysis.
