"I still have to say I'm unhappy with Eregos' victory over Loken, and now over Anub'arak. In terms of scope, he's just another dragon..."
He's "just another dragon" who happens to be graced with 3.8 million HP and attack abilities that hit for anywhere from 6,000 to 43,000 damage. There are LITERALLY raid bosses - IN WRATH - that are weaker than him. He's anything but "just another dragon," he is essentially the Sartharion to Malygos' Deathwing; a trusted guardian of the lair and one of the most powerful members of the entire flight.
As presented in the game, Eregos is far and away the most powerful of the heroic bosses. He's a colossus, one we can't even attempt to fight on our own - we'd get slaughtered. The only way we can even engage him with a chance at victory is to bring our own drakes into the fight.
I voted against my own personal favorite, Keristrasza, when she ran into this guy, and I was a bit annoyed when people fell back on the "well Loken's a Titan guy so he wins" explanation during their matches (during most of Loken's matches really) when battle and warfare aren't even part of Loken's profile.
As far as I see it, Ley-Guardian Eregos is the right and proper champion of the Wrath heroic season, and kudos to him for it.
