Just to say, some of the information in this article is wrong.

You can mount up whilst in a duel, I do it all the time to kite stealthed rogues. its just the same as in a battleground or any other pvp situation: you go out of combat if you don't attack/get attacked for a while.

And its no longer possible to flag someone using a duel. Shame really, that was great tactic to gank ally outside kara.

Also I'm pretty sure you can't buff people while they are dueling. You can buff them before the duel begins though.
