Patch 3.3.5: Assault on the Ruby Sanctum

A powerful war party of the Black Dragonflight, led by the fearsome Twilight dragon, Halion, have launched an assault upon the Ruby Sanctum beneath Wyrmrest Temple. By destroying the sanctum, the Black Dragonflight look to crush those that would stand in the way of their master's reemergence into Azeroth and to ultimately shatter the Wyrmrest Accord – the sacred bond that unites the dragonflights.
The battle that is to come will surely deal a crippling blow to the Red Dragonflight, however, it is up to you to stop this unprecedented offensive and defend the Ruby Sanctum. First you must face the assault of Halion's servants, Saviana Ragefire, Baltharus the Warborn, and General Zarithrian, before squaring off against Halion the Twilight Destroyer, a new and deadly force in this realm.
From the text, it sounds like we're getting four bosses in the Ruby Sanctum, unless they've taken a Northrend Beasts gauntlet-style approach to the encounters, or perhaps even another council-style battle. Later in the thread, Zarhym suggest that this may only be the beginning of Deathwing's attempts at shattering the Accord, so we may see the other Sanctums open before Cataclysm's launch.The Ruby Sanctum will feature 10- and 25-player content, Heroic difficulties and all-new rewards! Stay tuned for more information as we get closer to its release.

This is coming in patch 3.3.5 not 3.3.3 :)

Actually, the Ruby Sanctum raid will be coming in 3.3.5. The patch soon on the PTR will be 3.3.3, and I'm guessing there will be a lot of .5 stuff in the files that will be mined out.

It could be another Sartharion Style Fight where you can go ahead and kill the servants first and then kill Halion or go straight to Halion and trigger the "hard mode". I for one like the Sartharion + 3 fight because it really required a lot of strategy and coordination. You really get to know a lot about who can play and who can't

My immediate reaction from reading the description was that this would be a mount hyjal type fight. We're defending against each boss as they bear down on the sanctum.

Yeah, a mount hyjal type fight would be good too especially since we already had sarth not so long ago. My bet is that a full clear would take around 30 minutes

3.3.3 PvP patch
3.3.4 ??????
3.3.5 Ruby Sanctum
So what 3.3.4 gonna be? (and timeline...maybe Season 9 arena...most arena seasons lasted 16-18weeks...and Cata obviously wont be close to being done. But then again blizz said no more new tier. So is it possible to have a S9 without new tier?
