"The Deserter debuff given to players who leave a dungeon prematurely when queuing via the Random Dungeon option has been increased to 30 minutes, up from 15 minutes. The cooldown for using the Random Dungeon option remains 15 minutes."Awesome. Maybe this will help prevent whiny tanks from dropping group because something didn't go their way if they know they're faced with a queue time as long as a DPS."Players who use the Vote Kick option will now be prompted to provide a reason for kicking a party member. This reason will be presented to everyone in the party except for the person voted to be kicked."Also awesome, will hopefully prevent said whiny tanks from kicking DPS "because I feel like it". if they actually have to make up a reason on the fly maybe they'll be less likely to do so. I won't click "yes" to kick without a reason, and almost no one says the reason in chat. Maybe they think it should be apparent, but most of the time when I ask them it's just "because I feel like it". "Anyone in a dungeon party can now re-queue their group for a dungeon, as players will still be prompted whether or not to accept their chosen role." Complete win. I am glad Blizzard is continuing to improve upon their already awesome Dungeon Finder. They saw a lot of ways it was being exploited or used to grief other players, and are working to prevent such. Bravo.

/agree with everything you said. I am very happy to see these changes, I wasn't sure how the Dungeon Finder could get any better, but it just did.

I would suggest rolling a tank and doing randoms for a few days. I guarantee your idea of "whiny" tanks will completely change. Stop being a douche and the tanks will stop "whining".

I also agree with everything you said, however I still think they need to up the required gear score again for the icc 5 mans...I have been in several of them where to many people in the group were under geared and it's just a wipe fest, who wants a choice between a 30 min wait time or a huge repair bill, yes you could vote to kick but if you have to kick the tank you are still sitting there for 15-30 minutes depending on your battle group waiting for a new tank.

Level 80 druid - tank spec main, tree spec off. Main character since vanilla.Level 80 paladin - tank spec off, heal spec main.Level 70 warrior - tank spec main, fury spec off. Please don't assume that just because I complain about whiny tanks, I do not tank myself. I often repeat a quote I heard somewhere: "tanking makes you hate the rest of the party". I've played every role in the game, and I have to say, tanking, especially for PuGs, will make you disgruntled and bitter very fast. Seriously guys, /assist. please /assist :PHowever, there are also far more prima donna tanks out there than I've ever seen before, whose attitudes are very uncalled for. As an example, one tank I was running with decided to kick the warlock from the party, and when I voted "no" as his reply to my why was "just do it," he kicked me instead.I don't mean to say all tanks are whiny or prima donnas, by all means as a tank myself I would be insulting myself if I were to say that. However, it would be faulty to say that tanks do not have a disparate amount of power compared to the other four people in the party, and that hopefully these changes will tone that down a notch. That's all :)
