Breakfast Topic: What are you most looking forward to in Patch 3.3.3?
So just when it looked like things might be getting quiet in the wake of Patch 3.3, Blizzard stirred things up again last night with a release of PTR Patch 3.3.3. There's some pretty big changes coming our way. In addition to various class changes, we've got some other cool stuff too, including an abolishment of battleground marks, a way to get rid of all those annoying Frozen Orbs clogging our banks, new auction house functionality, and a lot more.
As far as non-patch notes stuff goes, there's been some interesting stuff dug out of the files too, including some Ruby Sanctum files and some files that point toward huge spoilers for what we assume to be the pre-Cataclysm world event.
Overall, it's been a pretty awesome day for WoW news. Now that we've all hopefully had time to digest everything, what's your favorite tidbit from the patch?
I'd say it's easily the spoiler news mentioned above. But in the interest of discussing something that will definitely appear, I have to say I'm pretty stoked about the abolishment of battleground marks. In theory, this means it's a lot easier to get some of that good looking, fun battleground gear at lower levels. When I level my worgen priest, I can take time to do a few battlegrounds and grab that awesome Warsong Gulch staff, and my death knight can finally grab a full set of PvP mounts without having to run over 100 WSGs (because seriously, I never win WSG, I swear). I haven't been this excited about PvP in WoW since I got my Legionnaire title on my tauren hunter.
What about you? What item in the patch notes or tidbit from the PTR has caught your eye?

I'm really looking forward to all the PvP changes, especially the random BG's.
Okya Feb 20th 2010 8:08AM
I can't wait for all the lore-intensive stuff. Ruby Sanctum, Gnomer and all that other lovely stuff.
Nazgûl Feb 20th 2010 9:25AM
Ruby Sanctum is 3.3.5, not 3.3.3.

I'm looking forward to a lot in this patch. This may be my favorite patch in quite a while!

Me too!
PvP changes are probably the biggest, but I think my absolute favorite aspect is that
Immolate damage-over-time ticks can now produce critical strikes!
Took Blizzard long enough, I can tell you. I just wanna hug whatever dude/dudette finally went and made it happen. /happy

As a frost mage in the hearth, im quite happy with the brain freeze change, allowing us to cast FFB instead
Also, HURRAY TO FROZEN ORBS BEING USEFUL AGAIN!

Anduin's new model by far.
ROB13 Feb 20th 2010 8:59AM
You mean he's not a mount like the other two models? Darnit.
ROB13 Feb 20th 2010 9:23AM
Well I do play a Priest...
Banic Rhys Feb 20th 2010 9:29AM
No.
Just no.

Held the enter button down a little long :S

Being able to get all the PVP mounts on my paladin without ever stepping into WSG again.

Second

Let's just hope they aren't selling for something like 50000 honor.

I've been wanting the black mechanostrider for years, but coudln't stomach years of WSG losses. This might push me back into BGs again (which I suck at).

Why does everyone hate wsg? Its my favourite....
Valt Feb 20th 2010 10:30AM
I dont hate WSG. As matter of fact I have mail full of WSG marks and 100 on my currency tab.
My battlegroups problem is that NO ONE RUNS AV. I need 60 AV marks for last 2 mounts and that would literally take .. 1-2 months to get with this speed (1+ hour queues and usually being zergfest loses -.-).
Also I'm very excited that now people can actually get to do EoTS, Sota, Isle, AV rather than just doing WSG and AB all day long. Our battlegroup is broken like that..
Valt Feb 20th 2010 10:38AM
@Banic Rhys
I think they do go for 50k (I'm not on ptr or anything atm).
30 marks from 3 BGs that makes about 30k for the mark turn in. Now to make up for getting twice as more honor than usual and to make "some fixed price to everything there" it might be 50k...
...then again.. thats unfair for 60s who want mount that way, 50k for lvl 60 would be horrid.
